NPower is a network of locally based nonprofit organizations that provide comprehensive, high-quality and affordable technology assistance to other nonprofit groups nationally. Founded in 1999, NPower currently serves more than 4,000 organizations each year.

History

Founded in 2001, NPower Michigan is a nonprofit technology assistance provider dedicated to helping nonprofit organizations throughout Michigan serve our communities and accomplish their missions through effective use of information technology. In January 2007, NPower merged with the Michigan Nonprofit Association to expand MNA's ability to deliver technology assistance to Michigan nonprofit organizations while providing administrative cost savings to members. As an affiliate of both the NPower National network and the Michigan Nonprofit Association, and with funding from Microsoft Corporation, NPower Michigan arms the Michigan nonprofit sector with the education, assistance, tips and tricks to help them turn their technology project dreams into a mission-supporting reality.
